As for Obama's comments about the media and Palin, it was classy, but there's really nothing else he could have said. Any other response would have made him look like a real shithead in the public's eyes.

Definitely, but he did do so pretty quickly (about a day or so after the media blowup).

Wouldn't it have been funny though if he came out and said something like, "Fuck that bitch, her daughter had that baby not her!  What is that bitch's problem flying back on that plane to some podunk town in Alaska to pop that little weasel out?  That bitch wasn't pregnant!  She and her daughter are both lying whores!"

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson

If I ever heard Obama use the term "baby mama", I think I would die of an aneurism. After laughing for about 3 hours uncontrollably.

Oh wow, she raised taxes? That's awful! We can't have a person raise taxes, they're high enough as it is!

What's that? Minimum wage increases, welfare payment increases, restoration projects for economically disabled communities, increases in disability pay all comes from tax money... AND these are things that democrats support and want to increase spending on? But, that'd mean THEY would raise taxes too!

You know, I don't support anyone running, but I love how people paint one side with one brush and the other with a different one. Here's a reality check for you - NOTHING is going to be different, no matter WHO is in office. Obama and McCain alike are going to overspend, support stupid things, make stupid decisions. Either way, the middle class is going to get screwed like they always do. Your college tuition will cost more, the cost of living will increase, but your paycheck will not.

There is no hero in politics. You want heroes? Go play a video game.

I almost wish Obama could bust out into ebonics sometimes for the comedic value of it. I would love to hear him trash talk McCain like a brother from the streets.

The media always has a flurry of things to say during elections, the problem is McCain is hurting his chances at winning by having a bike rack fist fight with the media.

Obama would get my vote if he called McCain a cracker in front of a camera.

Hah! THat's so the issue for me with Obama being president. I feel jipped. If we are to have a black man as president, I want it to be a true, hardcore angry black man. Like Samuel Jackson for president. That would be awesome. "You will know I am the chief-in-command when I lay my finger upon thee!"

I read that interview in Time, he really came off as a dick. I think he's squandering a major advantage that he had. Openness, and his being so candid. He had a reputation for wearing the press out, answering any and all questions until they had nothing left to ask. To answer intelligently and in full, being candid and honest and showing that he had nothing to hide. That sort of open straight talk was a huge selling point, and something I honestly admired about him. But in his interview with time he essentially just told them to fuck off. He acted like a normal politician, staying on point, deny things that are obvious, act with contempt for anyone who has a question.

I think this "war on the press" is a bad move, and a political tactic. So Obama is popular in the media? The solution isn't to have a tantrum about it. He was so good with the press, and it's sad to see him throw it away as a transparent political maneuver. And it's a sad point on politics, in order to win you have to become the sort of dick that you're wanting to throw out.

You can find me on facebook as Markus Van Rijn, if you friend me just mention you're from VGchartz and who you are here.

It's not like he doesn't have a point.

The Media has been really hands off Obama since that Shameful ABC debate.

They went too far hard against him it what was supposed to be an equal, fair debate about issuses.... and since then have seemed to be "making it up" to him.

He should be upset of the unfair treatment.

Palin's husband DUI 22 years ago don't need to be front page news.

Obama connection with William C. Ayers should be front page news.
