Forums - Microsoft - How much will 360 sell after the november 5th price cut?

Im sorry i ment september.

I am sorry if somebody made this already.

I think the first wekk the 360 will sell 180000 in america and 260000 world wide.

The second week i believe it will sell 160000 in america and 230000 world wide.

I think the 360 will sell 3.9 million more units in america by the end of this year.

1.5 million more in others this year.

And 80000 more in japan.

What do you guys think?

1 or 2 units I think.

seriously, It will have a similar affect as last year's drop. An increase for the Month and then back down just before the holidays kick in and they sale a 10-20% overall increase to previous year's holidays. Then after Jan they will move back down to a possible 5% increase on this year's average.

180,000? Really? Thats a bold guess

I hope my 360 doesn't RRoD

More than the increase in sales vs. last year.

Simply because the cuts are much deeper than last year...The Arcade dropped $20 last year...It's dropping $80 this year.

Back from the dead, I'm afraid.

Between 180,000 to 200,000 worldwide for about a month, Then a bit of a drop in early-mid october, then when gears 2 hits in november (good timing with xmas around the corner and gears 1 did brilliantly in november 2006) i think it can hit around 275,000-300,000 between november 7th to mid January

RROD was rampant when Gears 1 came out, Now that RROD is been phased out and customer confidence is returning it can only be good for microsoft, A lot of gears fans will have sold thier xboxs due to RROD but it's no longer somthing to fear, When gears 2 hits they will come flocking back and it will reflect on the sales figues

360 to OWN xmas '08
