Didn't EGM give this game, Game of the Month or was I just hearing things?

there is a lot of advertisements online for viva pinata. Also there is gonna be a treasure hunt on xbox.com on friday. I assume they'll have commercials during the kids show. Advertisements are handled by an agency that Microsoft hires, so it's in their hands. |
I sure hope so. May be they are hoping for good words of mouth and the game will pick up steam when holiday season come and they have thing like avatar , $199 arcade, motion controller (oh wait, scratch that) in place.
I think they could do more, generate some pre-order excitiment with those Pinata Cards, exclusive pinata for pre-ordering. If they want to get the mass excited they need to at least get their core fans excited.
so far the sequel has outscored the original at every website.
Note: Some games in my collection are no longer owned, but have owned.
Good to see it getting good scores. What is particularly nice is that it is getting these good scores despite not being fully directed at the audiences that typically read these sites.
Sitting at 86 on Metacritic.
Another surprise (sort of) hit for the Xbox 360.
starcraft - Playing Games = FUN, Talking about Games = SERIOUS
Ehhh pinatas ... again ...
Sure 86 on metacritics is very good, but this game is for kids. 360 owners are focus on different type of games. I can't see me playing with pinatas. I see it bundle for free as the last one. I hope I'm wrong.
Loved the original VP and it looks like they added alot to this one so it should be even better.
