I would do the same thing if my beloved candidate turned out to have a lot of baggage.
Nice connection between almost killing your baby on a 8 hour flight during labor, pregnant teenage daughter of absitence only teaching supporter, husband almost killed somebody while driving drunk, and a third grade report card.

I personally love how all the people who are so supportive about Barack Obama's new kind of politics are also those who are so agressive in pushing forward the sleaziest rumors and portraying them in the most biased light possible.

For someone who supposedly doesn't care about American polictics, you sure care a lot about American politics.

I never said I didn't care about American politics, I really don't care that much who wins the election though ... Both Republicans and Democrats have their strengths and weaknesses and both good and bad will come from either candidate getting elected. I have (mostly) been quiet in this election so far, but two things that enrage me are sleazy politcs and hypocracy ... Two things that seem like they are in endless supply when it comes to the attacks on Sarah Palin.
On the grand scheme of things which sounds worse for a person who may run your country:
1) A person who has a teenage daughter who is pregnant and married a man who had a DWI 24 years ago (4 years before she was married), and may have acted irrational while in labour
or
2) A person who (while in public office) exchanged questionable favours with a man who is now serving time in federal prison for fraud, bribery and extortion
I'm not saying either of these things should be a major factor in the election, in fact I think neither should be, but I think that some people really need to gain some perspective and life experience if they think that these "Scandals" about Palin are really meaningful or all that bad at all.
