This is shaping up rather nicely. I'm still worried about the one button combat but overall The game just looks plain fun.

I think the one button combat looks pretty varied and deep.

Check out the videos, he's using a lot of different moves.

If the combat is great then It'll be in my collection. That's pretty much what it comes down to. I didn't like it in the first game, but it sounds like its revamped. I don't care about buying buildings and doing side-jobs for cash (though its a cool option for those that are into that sort of thing), just make the main single-player quest awesome with great controls and combat, and I'm on board.

Probably won't be a first day purchase though. But it could be. that 2-3 week stretch is unbelievable:
Oct 21: LittleBigPlanet (1st day buy for me - I think it'll be truly revolutionary)
Oct 21: Bioshock PS3 (my favorite game on the 360 - but the framerate in the last two levels makes it virtually unplayable)
Oct 21: Fable 2 (previously mentioned)
October 28: Fallout 3 (Doesn't look great to me, yet, but everyone else seems to think its the best thing ever)
November 4: Resistance 2 (Biggest PS3 action release since MGS:4)
November 7: Gears 2 (ummm...don't really need to say anything).

What the heck? Why can't some of those come out now, while I'm stuck playing Force Unleashed demos and Madden?
