So imight get a 360 soon and the only reason i would ever get this piece of HW is due to the number of JRPGs on the system.  So give me the rundown on the good and the bad JRPGs on the system and your reasons why.  May include upcoming titles.

Lost Odyssey, Eternal Sonata, and tales of Vesperia are the 360 Jrpgs I have, and I think they are all great. So yeah I recommend those. The next one I might buy is Infinite Undiscovery, if not then I guess I'm going to wait for Star Ocean 4.

Of the ones I've owned and played...rated in order.

1. Tales of Vesperia - (playing it now) best one I have played on 360 so far.

2. Lost Odyssey - pretty decent length game, good graphics, kind of run of the mill in every other way.

3. Eternal Sonata - great art style, colorful, good music, shallow fighting

4. Blue Dragon - only played about 10 hours into it, couldn't stand it personally.

Get Lost Odyssey, it's great game. Also, get ToV, haven't gotten it yet but I will after I beat LO(I'm on Disk 4). The Last Remnant and SO4 are also looking good so far.

you can't go wrong, both eternal sonata and blue dragon are 19.99 or less.

There is also Enchanted Arms. It looks good, but it's not at the top of my wishlist (Eternal Sonata is up there though with Tales).

Good:Eternal Sonata, Lost Odyssey, ToV, SO4, FFXIII, Infinite Undiscovery.

Bad: Enchanted Arms.


I bought a 360 for the very reason you mentioned, JRPGs. Ironically, I found that so far, the best RPG I have found is Mass Effect.

Some other 360 games worth mentioning:Viva Pinata, Dead Rising, Pac Man C.E.

How is Infinite Undiscovery? It's by tri-ace so is it like star ocean??
