I agree. Damned mate he is boring the first 5 minutes I found it interesting untill patcher opened his mouth. 'I know you guys were not born yet but how many TV's your (Grand)parents bought between 1960 and 2004.  Ugh.

I dont think that the TV analogy applies very well because I can still use my crappy old TV from 90s to watch movies and channels today. And if i tried to use a computer from 90s to play any game that came out this year for the PC then I would not be able to play even if I made every setting in existence low.

Plus, in the end there are only two types of TVs right now: SDTV and HDTV. Yes there is a slight variation in resolution and monitor size but besides that there is not much difference.

Either way I dont see another console in the near future because neither Sony nor Microsoft nor Nintendo are interested in releasing one so soon. Sony and Microsoft have multibilllion dollar losses that they need to recoup. Wii is earning a huge profit and there is no need for Nintendo to replace it yet since it is still not meeting demand after two years with no price cut. Not to mention game developers who dont have to purchase new engines, developer kits and get used to new console architectures again.

But still Microsoft has the Money to get there....
