This entire generation, Microsoft has been working on making sure there are  good quality and good selling games for its console.  Microsoft will continue  to make sure good games come to its console.  A big strategy Microsoft is implementing is the fact that it is trying to get as many 360 exclusives as it can, and then making its competitors previously exclusive games multiplat on their console. Microsoft is also using its high softwar sales/ attach rate to encourage developers to continue to make games on the 360. Microsoft is trying to show that, whatever type of gamer you are, there is bound to be a good game waiting for you to play.

okay, my statement is well out of context. I quoted something nearly identical to that in squillam's post : "How can I prove the Xbox 360 will beat out the PS3 in the end?"

Too bad they failed on the hardware side of things then, games can only be played on a console that works afterall. Gazz thinks off his 2 360's that failed on him....... I did sell my refurbished 360 (number 3 that was) and bought a new GPU for my pc and got to play all 360 games on that other gaming platform called the pc though.

But you can't prover that, just like you can't prove the Ps3 will do better than the 360. seriously I'm lost here.

In the thread I was ATTEMPTING to make an argument, not proof, in favor of the 360 in terms of sales. I don't think the 360 will sell more than PS3 just because Microsoft is focusing on games, I was simply stating how the 360 differentiated itself from the PS3. This may or may not help Microsoft in the long run...

You Go Gazz, you play your new CPU on your MS operating system PC. Please, continue to buy MS sponsored games so MS can continue to profit and MS can in turn provide more support for 360. Thank you for continued contribution to MS's success. Oh and their failure on the Hardware side (old news now) still translated to Millions of consoles sold (including your 3, ha, ha), and continues to sell well.
