it was already released... a while ago... has an extra campaign mission and looks 100% better. Neither of those is very shocking though is it? lol

what? are you serious.... you really dont know how the PC market works. A PC game can make a profit with only selling like 350k copies sold mattering the title and costs of production but its still generally between 350k and 500k. Really Crysis made a profit before hitting a million and it was one of the most costly PC games made in the last year. |
Thats the thing, Gears PC probably didn't sale anywhere near 350k. Crysis was a HUGE pc game and only sold 1.5 mil.
They say that mouse/keyboard control is not as good as using the 360 controller. And apparently the port wasn't very well done, graphics glitches, bad optimizations, etc.

1.5m is a large number in the PC arena... in a gaming environment where there are more then 1000+ games released a year do you really think that it is easy for one game to sell that much?

That, and rampant pirating. It is apparently a big problem with CoD4, which could have led to the fact that it was more successful on 360.

that is just because Activision are complete morons in the PC gaming arena.
And Activision will still tell you that after adding COD4 to steam that sales massively increased. Heck its still in the top 10 most purchased games at the moment.

Yes, it came out an entire year later.
Halo 2 wasn't going to the PC either, until it did. Exclusive to the Xbox means nothing.
You do not have the right to never be offended.

No its not.
Piracy is a given for PC gaming. It always happens in large numbers, regardless of which game/genre/company/DRM.
