Forums - General - This Just In- Left Wing Media Planning McCain Assination if Elected!!!

Yes, these are all assumtions I have formed based on what I have seen in each person. Not just what commentators say about them.

I was watching Palin coverage on CNN so there is no way I was fed a positve slant their.

End of 2009 Predictions (Set, January 1st 2009)

Wii- 72 million   3rd Year Peak, better slate of releases

360- 37 million   Should trend down slightly after 3rd year peak

PS3- 29 million  Sales should pick up next year, 3rd year peak and price cut

So...your judgement is based on what you saw in the person watching CNN....eh, why is that an unbiased feed?

The media is more than CNN, or Fox news. It's books, talk shows, radio shows, every form of media that is trying to spew their opinion at you. People just pick something to listen to, and then agree with that. You've yet to say anything I haven't heard on TV, or on the Radio, or in a magazine. Your opinions completely mirror that of various groups that want you to agree with them.

Whoa, whoa, WHOA!! Did anyone ,for one second, stop to think about the kind of PORN we would get if Palin were President? The industry would explode!

*fantasizes for a second*

Oh hell yeah! McCain/Palin 2008!!

sorry don't read magazines. they either commentary(screw that) or I am reading about an event through someone elses perspective.

I am quite adept I discerning a person at face value so I preferr just to listen to what they have to say, and then take it from there.

lol, because a person couldn't possibly just tell you what they want you to hear right? News wants ratings, books wants sales, and Politicians want to get elected.

You saw what Timmah did above with some fancy moves with the numbers. What makes you think that you are going to discern anything of value from listening to the person who wants you to vote for them? That's the MOST biased source you could possibly pick, not the least. And then relying on your feelings towards that person just adds another layer of inherent bias to equation. There's nothing even remotely resembling an educated methodology in this idea of watching the person and then deciding if you agree or not.

I know they are the most biased source, but I can at least see through it.

With the media, I will never know what they really said.

Go, vagabond, go!

I shake my head at people on this forum... Some people think you're an idiot for questioning Obama... Well, duh. I'm going to question someone who rarely crosses the aisle and claims that he'll unify the nation. If you're going to vote Obama, just be honest and admit it's because he's Liberal. That's fine, just stop feeding us the hope and change bullshit.

As for McCain, he feels like a real fighter whose time has long past. Let's stop pretending it's 1990 and that John hasn't spent the past eight years sucking up to Rove & Co.

In short, anyone who claims to positively know what's best for America is some combination of delusional, arrogant, and naive. It's a complicated matter and the second we stop examining what the opposition is saying, everyone loses. Pay attention, read everything you can, and in November, pick the poison that makes you sick the least.

about time I got some sane back up. What he said. Did you see the part where I used timmah's numbers to kick his ass? Not to toot my own horn, but that was pretty awesome.

Oh noes the media is teh brainwashing peoplezz!!!!!111950938092ONEOMGZORS!!!

We had two bags of grass, seventy-five pellets of mescaline, five sheets of high-powered blotter acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine, a whole galaxy of multi-colored uppers, downers, screamers, laughers…Also a quart of tequila, a quart of rum, a case of beer, a pint of raw ether and two dozen amyls.  The only thing that really worried me was the ether.  There is nothing in the world more helpless and irresponsible and depraved than a man in the depths of an ether binge. –Raoul Duke

It is hard to shed anything but crocodile tears over White House speechwriter Patrick Buchanan's tragic analysis of the Nixon debacle. "It's like Sisyphus," he said. "We rolled the rock all the way up the mountain...and it rolled right back down on us...."  Neither Sisyphus nor the commander of the Light Brigade nor Pat Buchanan had the time or any real inclination to question what they were doing...a martyr, to the bitter end, to a "flawed" cause and a narrow, atavistic concept of conservative politics that has done more damage to itself and the country in less than six years than its liberal enemies could have done in two or three decades. -Hunter S. Thompson
