Bush unemployment numbers continue to best the Clinton Years:

And, it looks like the recession is once again on hold.
The economy grew by a very respectable 3.3% in the second quarter of this year.
Yahoo Finance reported:

The economy shifted to a higher gear in the spring, growing at its fastest pace in nearly a year as foreign buyers snapped up U.S. exports and tax rebates spurred shoppers at home.

The Commerce Department reported Thursday that gross domestic product, or GDP, increased at a 3.3 percent annual rate in the April-June quarter. The revised reading was much better than the government's initial estimate of a 1.9 percent pace and exceeded economists' expectations for a 2.7 percent growth rate.

Also, according to the US Census Bureau, the poverty rate today continues to remain below those Clinton years:

America's North Shore Journal reported:

The average poverty rate for all Americans for the first seven years of the Reagan terms was 14.2%. For the first seven years of Bill Clinton’s terms, it was 13.6%. Under George Bush, the average poverty rate for 2001-2007 is 12.4%.

Bubba didn't mention this in his speech here in Denver.

I think the pick of Palin had more to do with putting a fresh on his ticket. Yes, they want more women, she is successful, mother of 5, attactive, and appears to be down to earth. So, no they are not going to get the phsyco feminist Hilary bots. But they will get some of the women who would have voted for Barack just because he looks better than Mccain... this happens... look at Bill Clinton vrs. Bob Dole.

Also, if Palin can hold her own against Biden I am pretty sure that she will sure people up about her.

Can't you all see that you're all drinking the media kool aid? Regardless of which side you're on your being made partisan by infotainment that just spouts talking points from one side of the debate or the other? Looking at the Misery index, Clintons average unemployment rate is inflated because it was terrible when he got in office 7.30, it went steadily and always down eventually ending at 3.90, with bush it's steadily gone up with a high of 6.30, except for a small dip shortly there after and then back up to 5.70. It's never been as low as it was when clinton was in office. If it wasn't for Bush's dad making unemployment soar to over 7% Clinton's average would be waay below Bush jr.

I also think a Romney/ Palin ticket would be better. Right now I am just loving Palin, she seems like a real person. Not just another greasy politician.

But McCain is much better than Obama. The thought of Obama and his idealogy of government intervention scares the heck out of me. He is a Socialist, and I personally don't like that at all. If you want to be under a socialist systems move to Europe and pay 70% taxes.

Like I have said many times Obama hides behind his beautiful rhetoric, the man worries me a good bit.
