Afghanistan should have never been brought into this argument. Their actions warranted our invasion.

The way I see it Russia should have minded their business. If Texas and California decided to separate from the US and form their own independent nations you're dam sure we're going to send in the military to make sure they don't since it's illegal to do so in the first place.
