Start on small games of 8-12 people....its a little bit less overwhelming than a 32 man server playing on a small map!!

since everythings already been said I'll just say this.

For me it has been a great value. (I've played it longer than any other ps3 game)

The league is great fun.  Be sure to check it out.

Just as a note, you will get your ass kicked non-stop for the first couple of hours, but hang in there. I hated the game when I first bought it, thought I wasted my money. But after I got the hang of it, it was incredibly awesome.

I suggest purchasing it from Play.com in case you dont like it you can always trade it in, and you get a bluetooth with every purchase i would buy it just for the bluetooth!

What he said.  I have more hours into that game than any other game I've ever played.  I finally started to get tired of it and took a pretty long break.  However, I just got the new expansion pack with the jetpacks and I'm loving the game all over gain.  Jetpacks rule.
