Well I wouldn't bitch about much because the wii has every .1% increase. Thanks to them I'm going to see that 30(very least) more times or so....

trust me when LBP comes out the ps3 is gonna sell more than the wii for a couple of weeks ....then R2 release will do the same for like a week

I guess people buy Wii's (more than 360 + PS3) because it's a quality system.

360 Sold more than 103.000 units, I think that's good for a system with almost 3 years. And if we think about the installed base of XBOX vs PS2..... Then it's a victory!

Anyway, PS3 can only go up because they are last with 22.5% market share.....

LBP to push PS3 over Wii? Highly, highly unlikely.

I dont think LBP will be one of those front heavy games like Halo 3. Reason's simple:

LBP seems like a genuinely good game. But the problem is, there's doesn't seem to be much hype for it outside the PS3 circle. I think what happens will be, LBP will sell well upon release (I think ~400k-600k), then as word gets out about how good it is, the people who previously turned their noses up at it will come around.

That's not true. 360 beat PS3 in the week ending July 27th by 10,000 units as well as the week ending August 10th by 3,000 units.

Even though these marginal wins only happened while 360 had the fire-sale and the PS3 was supply constrained, it's not accurate to say that the PS3 has won "each and every week this year".

 

 Actually that data has been "retroactively retconned".That data was based on american data of the 360 being higher that PS3 due to the fire-sale of the 20GB units left.But when NPD gave us the real data and we saw the PS3 had beaten the 360 fire-sale or not for the whole month,it became pretty clear no way the 360 could have pulled a win that month.Vgchartz adjusted a bit the PS3 numbers and a  bit lower (not enough it was overtracked more than 100K and it was only adjusted 40K)the 360 ones.So ,those weeks you remember ,actually didnt happen at all.
