Even more, FFXIII is still 100% exclusive in Japan as well as most of Asia. Furthermore, PS3 is ahead of 360 in Europe and that lead will only increase by the time the game is released next year. That's two MAJOR regions of the world that will see a huge advantage to the PS3 version. Even America will likely favor the PS3 version due to the reasons I listed above.

vsXIII looks good, but I just don't think your going to find a large portion of Final Fantasy fans just coming on board for the X360, and then deciding they "need" vsXIII.

What is it with people this gen to be saying so often that this big game, or that big game won't get a HW boost, or only just "some HW boost"?

I remember before MGS4 came out. So many fanboys where saying there will be NO HW boost from that!? Like, come on, we are talking about FF here. just look at Japan and the ok selling ToV franchise now on the 360 and it's HW boost just from that.

When are people gonna learn that exclusive games, especially this franchise, is what really moves HW!

Also, this FF is part of the main story, not a side or add on story, MAIN STORY, ok!!!

FF series as far as JRPGs concerned is the only series that interests me. Reading the reviews on the other JRPG series I see there is no comparison to the popularity and greatness that is expected from FF series.

I don't know. It seems a bit pointless to me to buy both a PS3 and 360. I doubt many people will do it just to play Versus XIII.

And to answer the OP's question, yes!

Why?- well, I believe FF13 will be rock solid and huge and will generate many new FF13 fans, as well as wet the older fan bases appetite and have us all needing to play the other main story to get the full experience of our FF hit.

By that time the PS3 should be around the $300 mark. Many 360 users will already have got one for big games like LBP, R2, Kz2, GoW3, Infamous and probably Heavy Rain etc, etc as well.

If u owned both by that time, why would u buy it for the 360?

if people are buying their console to play ff, they should buy a ps3. If versus stay exclusive that is.

I think people who get FF13 on 360 will be inclined to get RROD which will make them inclined to get a PS3 for the Bluray version of FF13 and versus.
