Let's just say the price cuts are confirmed

Yeah, they already were confirmed when we saw K-mart's ads.

and these have no '*' saying limited quatities etc. Proving that it is not a limited time offer as well.

@ superchunk

The circuit city one (or was that K-mart) did say that.

@DMeisterJ - Kmart and I know, that's what I mean. BB's does not supporting the idea that it is not a limited sale, but an actual price change.

Interesting they are advertising Wii Fit as well but I wonder if they actually get many in stock.

After all has been said on this you would have to be a fool to think that the core model is a temporary/firesale like the 20 gig was.

it says rare's new viva pinata is only $40 i think that is the same price for banjo n and bolts.
X360 arcade($200) +BANJO OR VIVA PIN TIP($40)=$240, thats less than a wii and should appeal to casual gamers

I have maintained that the Arcade SKU and Banjo-Kazaooie was MSFT's attempt to appeal to the budget-conscious family. The low price of Viva Pinata bolsters my position.

Still, given a choice between a $250 Wii and the $200 360, the vast majority of casuals will choose a Wii.  That is, if they can fine one.
