GOW2 being a launch title was not posible but march 2008 could have been great and much needed push to PS3.

I was thinking that too. Microsoft could probably even have 4 devs on Halo projects and release 2 Halo games every year.

Microsoft's wallet would look forward to that

It could be possible since Bungie is rumored to be working on a Halo set TPS while Gearbox could work on the main Halo storyline. I'll admit im a freakishly huge halo fan and I'm confident in gearbox's ability to make a great game. Plus, lets face it, the formula is already there. They just need to take it a step further. Lot's of ways to release these games ASSUMING that Halo 4 and the Halo TPS rumors are true.

Yeah, making a Halo game wouldn't be that hard as long as the quality was there (and since it's Gearbox, it would be there). The universe is already pretty set so there isn't a lot of need to be creative there. As for the multiplayer, that is pretty well developed too so there wouldn't be a lot to mess up there.
