Isreal does not have any oil and it was a major decision that Turman decided to make supporting Isreal because the US felt bad for the hollocaust and it was started by a democrat and Republicans generally support tough ferign policy and thats why both parties suppot Isreal.

What's funny is every powerful nation has gotten their on the backs of other less powerful nations. No world power has ever been "good" in every transaction.
US has many issues and personally I detest a lot of our foreign policy, (i.e. Israel, Guantanamo Bay, Iraq War, lack of interest in genocide in Africa, World Bank policies, etc) however, US also does a lot more good than most nations. We have far more $$ being donated to foreign aid by a pretty good margin. We have far more private International charity organizations. We have saved plenty of nations from complete destruction in two WW's we didn't start and a few other wars we were involved in. Many of you European nations would be speaking German or Russian if it wasn't for the US.
No nation is without its skeletons, however, at least in the US I can stand directly in front of any political leader and tell him that he is a piece of shit and should be removed from office. Try that it Russia.
