by the time the ps4 comes out the ps3 will be a very weak system so i hope sony can create a system more powerful then it by some margin.

Has any console ever launched with a superb line up of games? The PS3, 360, PS2 didnt....so what? No damage done.

They arent going to dumb down the PS3. Why should they?

I bet if the PS4 was dumbed down to the level of the wii (in terms of processing ppower) and the wii2 upgraded to PS3 capabilities the wii2 would still win.

PS3 will not be a weak system in 2012...It constantly gets firmware updates. Maybe we might never see a ps4? Who knows...

I predict Sony will release a $1000 system in 2011.

The PS4 will probably be alot easier for Sony then the PS3 as they now have things like the Cell, blu-ray done.. I'm wondering if the cell can be somehow turned into a GPU too as it seems somewhat suited and with ray tracing and such would be ideal

Sony won't go for an even more expensive console considering the problems an unaffordable console combined with a late launch caused them.

Sony will most likely go for a relativley powerfull console to the extent that they won't have to sacrifice a good price point.
