Forums - Microsoft - 360 Fall update coming in November

The people who buy the console in October, which most likely will be a lot of people, will get used to the current dashboard then turn around a month later and get used to an entire new one? I think September should be the released date honestly. Right with the $199 Arcade

I'm sure if the new dashboard was ready to go for October they would release it then.  Cleary they'll have it finished, working and tested by November,  so that's when it will get released.

It's not like the conversation at MS went: "Hey the dashboard will be ready in October"..."Well lets sit on it for a month just so we can screw over those who buy a console in October and learn the old dash."

Why so late in the season? I dont think that makes sense at all.

If you'd have read the article you would have seen:

"Before I start sounding too glib, while the fall update has routinely landed in November, an update of this size could have theoretically been pushed back to later in the year. So it is nice to have Microsoft telling some on the record that we can expect our sexy new look and deeper features in three months or so."
