Wow you guys arent very smart. They farm characters. They have that many accounts, train them up to lvl (whatever) And then put them on e-bay and sell them for 200-300$ each. Doing 40 accounts every 2-3 weeks, yeilds well over 5thousand a month. So really, that's awesome.

^^ First of, thanx for questioning our intelligence, that always leads to a constructive arument. Second, even if they make good money I can think of it to be sad to spent so much time in a virtual environment, people make good money working in dangerous coal mines or killing whales, sure everybody has to make a living and I won´t judge them, I still think its sad, thats all.

Well apparently he has a girlfriend, so no reason to complain there. =P

But it looks like they spend all their time playing WoW instead of F***ing. having a GF on WoW makes no sense unless they are into cybering, but what is the point of cybering the girl who is sitting 3 feet away from you?

Okay, have you ever had a women in your life? It's not like you spend 24/7 making out. Ever cross your mind that maybe, just maybe, it's possible to do something with a girlfriend that doesn't involve sex/cybering/etc?

I have had plenty of partners in my life and I can tell you right now after you have a 40+ hour week at Uni/work, when you get home you want some sort of physical or emotional interaction that simply isn't possible over a computer game. While I can almost undersand the emotional aspect of being with someone online (i have plenty of online friends), I simply can not understand the draw over a physical relationship. I don't mean sex, I mean the fact that there is someone there at the end of the day to be with, even if this just means being together on the couch watching TV. I will admit to being a to crude with my quoted post but i think my point still stands. Why would you want to play computer games together when you could do smething more enjoyable.

So tell me, what kind of a dumbass spends 200-300 dollars on a video game character? Even if they made that much a month, the electric bill would be insane and they would damage their health. And besides, you have anything better to do than stroll around and attempt at starting arguments?

But back to topic...  why do people find World of Warcraft so addicting? The game is so stupid and boring... I can't see how it's addicting and destroys the lives of so many people.
