Forums - General - McCain VP Discussion

I find it hilarious that the only thing the democrats can come up with is her lack of experiance. She has similiar experiance as Obama, and she is running for VP. Now I know all of the left wingers are expecting Mccain to drop dead by 2010, but serious Obama is a classic example of a charismatic person. He is worthless, but he can speak good, is attractive and is black.

I sure hope that the republicans can point out the lol in the dems retalitation. They need to elect an experiance PRESIDENT, the VP is one of the most worthless positions in the Gov. And Mccain aint gonna drop dead anytime soon.

If you ask me, the dems are DESPERATE. The only thing they have on her is to degrade small town america, and say her work there is worthless, and talk about he sisters divorce (wtf)

So isn't the combined experience between Obama and Biden now way higher than the combined experience between McCain and Palin?

There goes the Republican experience argument.

Not really... I mean...

That's like saying that a team of VJ Singh and jack Nickalus' Caddy are better then Tiger Woods and me... becuase VJ Signh and Nickalus' Caddy have more majors wins.

Though honestly I'm not even giving Caddys enough credit... as some actually help the golfer with his club selection.

Aside from which... being a Govonor is actually better expierence for being president then being a senator.

Well, it's just that McCain has been bitching and moaning about Obama's lack of experience forever, and when that didn't work his backup plan was "Aha, I'll pick somebody even younger than him that NOBODY'S ever heard of! That'll do it!"

It's like McCain's "flip-flopping" or trying to use some reverse psychology on voters or something?

It's also just a desperate plea for the Hillary vote, but as a pro-lifer, I don't think she's going to steal any pro-choice female votes. A lot of people see "pro-life" as "anti-woman."

Honestly, do you really think any politician (in particular a many) in their right mind would be dumb enough to attempt to attack the mother of a down syndrome child on her pro-life stance?

Like me.  However I think there are bigger fish to fry at the moment... like the global food crisis which Obama plans to make drastically worse.

With the congress in control of the senate there should be no way a pro-life judge gets on the Supreme court.  The dems COULD have kept out Alito but for some reason everyone let him pass.  They should of just fillbustered the guy.

Biden most of all, praising the guy because they went to the same college.  Or something silly like that.

With a Senate majority they shouldn't be so stupid again.

But you're for killing babies once they get out of the womb?  Unnecessary wars, capital punishment (something I agree with just showing your hipocracy) and so forth.

Personally, I'm not pro-life or pro-choice ...

I believe they should be legal because (realistically) with the internet around I think a determined woman will find a way to have an abortion or a miscarriage. My big problem is the numbers demonstrate that are primarily used by people who are too stupid to figure out what a condom is for:

(Abortions per 1000 births)

If you're in a region where 1 in 5 (or more) pregnancies is ending in abortion you have a serious unwanted pregnancy problem ...

Well when babies commit murder in cold blood I will be all for their execution in the womb. They only time I support abortion is to save the life of the mother. Unnecessary Wars? Neither me nor you could say that. Iraq has been so politcized from both sides no body can really know what was really needed. All I know is that we have not had another 9/11... we must be doing something right, because I am sure they would try it again if they had the chance. I have had friends die in Iraq, and both of them believed in what they were doing, and told me so. They saw something over the media has no portray to us at home.
