Forums - General - Obama picks VP....

A solid choice for Obama. Biden isn't someone whos going to make or break Obama's chances really. A safe move IMO but time will tell. I think the VP pick for the Republicans will carry more weight than Obama's. Im leaning toward a Romney/McCain ticket only b/c it seems pretty logical to pick someone who is a proven business man and knows his economics. Time will tell.

A long time senator is a risky choice, especially when running against the Republican Party. They tend to drag every last negative skeleton they can find from a voting record and shine 1gagillion watt light on it.

For some reason I thought he'd pick a governor, that way he'd have atleast SOME executive experience on his ticket.
