when im playing some pc games my sound effects and voice isn't working.

Ever since i upgraded to vista the sounds were absent; am i missing some files or is a file corrupt?

Upgrade to XP. What version of Direct X do you have installed? Is Vista up to date?

i have the latest one i think its directx 10

go the the manufacturer website for your sound card and look for the latest drivers. Some companies never made new drivers for older cards, so you may be out of luck, but that is your best bet.

idk maybe the games weren't installed properly
on vista they reminded me that the game wasn't properly installed its so confusing of wats missing or wat i dont have or wat could have m=been deleted

if your talking about the window that pops up saying the program is known to have problems, then you'd have to go to the publishers web-page and look for game updates there.

I had 1 game bite the dust due to Vista, but other than that I love it.
