First of all this is not a flame war Im trying to start I really want to know.Plus we all know the Wii is the most popular so really only mention it when appropriate.

How do we define which console is more popular? We all know the 360 has the better sales by about 5 million but the ps3 has sold considerably better than it since last holiday season. Now since we all live in the west where the 360 is more dominant its hard to look at things on a global scale.

PS3 has the momentum, the brand name, and a faster adoption rate, with a significantly higher price, and the international prescence.

360 has the better LTD sales, the longer shelf time, and the better software sales and attatch rate, and arguably a better games library and online service(debatable and I disagree).

I would say 360 for now but the ps3 will absolutely eclipse it in popularity by the end of next year.
