Highly unlikely with all the reports springing up that refurbed 360s are getting retrofitted with an additional heat sink.
I still think MS held off on this for so long because they needed to find a viable workaround that not only fixed the problem on new units, but one that also could be retrofitted to refurbished units. It appears that they have found this solution and are now ready to extend the warranty to ensure people that if their 360 breaks, they'll not only get another 360 for free, but they'll also get one that won't break again.
