Yeah the "Bullshit..." episode on global warming is pretty good too.
You see how much Al Gore profits off of global warming fear mongering.
For example, did you know he owns a carbon credit company? That's a company where people pay money because they feel bad about burning oil.
Basically he generates guilt, to get people to buy credits, that he owns. Man Made Global Warming is the new "indulgence".
Still I can't hate him too much because he did voices for fututrama a lot.

I love getting my science from two magicians, one of which doesn't talk. ;) I guess it isn't much better than getting science from a (apparently hypocritical) politician.
On topic:
Just because the figurehead of the environmental movement is a hypocrite, does not invalidate the need to increase energy efficiency.
well coupled with the factual inaccuracies of his "documentary" it does make a compeling argument to revoke his ill-received nobel prize.

It doesn't. No one said that... But it does mean he should increase his energy efficiency and be more like the "planet hating" president of ours.
No, I have actually heard people call him that...

Well him... and the guy who founded the weather channel.
The TV show doesn't even say global warming doesn't exist. It just exposes the massive profit the people who support global warming make.
Combined with the very hazy facts on it... even if they turn out right, it's currently the biggest scam there is.

It doesn't mean we shouldn't strive for energy efficiency when the technology is there or can easily be researched.
EDIT: And energy efficiency to me means getting the same quality of life out of less fuel.

Which i agree... I actually hate things like SUVs because of the gas they waste and general uselessness to the population who owns them.
However fear mongering with faulty science to make money and get people to do things you way is just unacceptable. Most of the "Green movement" stuff has little to nothing to do with energy efficency and everything to do with feeling better and/or making money of peoples fear.
It's like the people who protest in NY about human rights violations in china. They aren't really doing anything... and if they really wanted to do something they'd join an organization that could... but instead holding a sign for 2 hours every couple months soothes their guilt.
