Love stories are so girly and annoying.

No romance in anime or RPG's ftw. It ends up being mindless fan service anyways.

Uhhh,  I don't think it's too bad if you're mature enough, and it's done subtly enough. Fanservice does tend to get annoying a lot of times, COUGH TOS2 COUGH but I always like a bit of hints (At least) in most rpgs. As long as it doesn't disrupt the story, and is sensible. The development between Yuri and Judith was nice for example.

Yes, I'm a YurixJudith fan btw. And YurixRita :ninja:

Yeah, I finally have a sig.

Yeah, I, too, actually liked some of the potential parings in Vesperia.

A side quest here and there wouldn't be too bad, I guess.

 Not if its done right.

GOTY Contestants this year: Dead Space 2, Dark Souls, Tales of Graces f. Everything else can suck it.

If you have a Gamecrazy near you in the US this game is now $30.
Including the special edition. $25 used.

It's just that simple.

Eeeeexactly. Most turn out to be quite cheesy though. Emil/Marta's relationship from ToS2 just KILLED me -.-

The problem is it's never, ever been done right in the history of RPG's. So what would make you think Vesperia would do it right when it couldn't even give us simple things liked developed villains a deep cast outside of Raven?

Because it was and is. The entire game was the beginning of a romantic relationship, not the relationship itself, and it came off entirely realistic. Thats why a Vesperia 2 having a full blown romance would make more sense then any past JRPG romances.

Also see: Tales of the Abyss. They pushed it much more, but trial and error was probably what led to Vesperia having such a mature build of relationships.

Are you actually saying that Raven was the only deep cast member in Vesperia? Man i really can't take you seriously anymore.

Just watched the final episode in the Tales of the Abyss anime. It was Asch.

Is it only me, or do I like the English version of the opening better? Sure the lyrics sound funny, but the singer's voice sounds different in the English one, and I like it better, which is weird since I usually always like the Japanese versions of everything better.

Not to say that the Japanese version's bad in any way. The opening's just awesome.
