What did you guys think about the rivalry between Yuri and Flynn? Though it is not as great as the rivalry between Luke and Asch (my favorite rivalry) It was still a very deep and mature one. I just wish they fought each other under bad circumstances just once like at that time at Nordopolica after Belius. They should have fought at that time.

It wasn't even a legit rivalry.

Those two were all hugs & kisses most of the time. I need more fighting and trying to 1up each other to call something a rivalry. Those two were allies.

No. They constantly argued with each other about the meaning of justice. About what was the right path to take to insure true justice without crossing into the line of a criminal. It was a very mature and unique rivalry if you ask me. Not the casual "i want to prove myself to you" rivalry.

But how, exactly, is that a rivalry? It seems like two friends having diagreement about something if you ask me. Now, I like the moments these two had together, but I don't thik it qualifies as a rivalry. There really weren't any rivalies in Vesperia. Apple Head and Rita could have had one if the developers chose to do so, but they ended up not doing anything with Flynn's characters except some things with Sodia.

A rivalry between the two would have been cool. I could just imagine Yuri wanting to best Flynn out of arrogance and nothing more. lol

No that would have been stupid if Yuri fought Flynn just to best him for no legit reason. Like i said, if Yuri and Flynn fought each other after that scene with Belius then the rivalry would have been perfect. And a rivalry between Rita and Apple Head would have been stupid and a waste of time. And the whole Sodia thing was great, it shocked the hell out of me when that happened.

Zagi was closer to yuri rival than flynn was. Flynn should have been a party member if anything. At least let you enter the collisium with him.

Being a rival doesn't always have to mean fighting all the time. Yuri and Flynn were definitely rivals, and Yuri states that quite clearly when he resented losing to Flynn at everything.

Though, I personally prefer the more intensed rivalries.

I hope for a PS3 version with playable Flynn.

Raven vs Yeager would be awesome.

Both of those two were awesome characters. I wished they would have let you switch Raven for Shcawnn if you did a side quest or something.
