I bought a Belkin Wireless G USB Network Adapter to tap into an open network in my area but it's not performing very well. Half the time it can't even connect and when it does the internet is very slow even though it says the speed is at 5 Mbps. However, my laptop can connect to the same network at 55 Mbps and works everytime. I don't know why and guessing that it's due to the Belkin adapter sucking so anyone here uses a network adapter and knows of one that has a good range or whatever. This is the first time I have used wireless.
