This really does sound awesome.

I may import ACC for the demo, and because I've never seen the movie. Assuming it's at a reasonable price, that is.

Is the movie good?

The plot is kind of bland and it's geared toward FF7 fans (guessing you have played the game).  But the visuals are freakin' amazing and I'm very excited to see this in Blu-ray glory.  From what I've heard, it will have English Audio and Subs.  At least that's what they are saying on AnimeonDVD.com

Actually, the only FF I have played is FFX, which I started five days ago, and will finish soon. :P

After that, I plan to play FFXII, and maybe track down FFIX.

FFX is great, and even more so is FFIX. Can't say the same for FFXII but that is my opinion. Make sure you play FFVI though.(Best FF ) And the DS remake of FFIV.

Turn Based!!!!!! thank you Square!
That probably means we get random encounters back? or will we have something like the Star Ocean 3 overworld map?

They've said no random encounters, I think.

Personally, I'd like random encounters. Iono why people hated on it, but I think it's kind of cheap when you can just see enemies on the map and not fight.

PSN: chenguo4
Current playing: No More Heroes

@above

I want random encounters, I mean REALLY want them, I LIKE random encounters, if people are that concerned about it, SE should just add an ability like in FFVIII where you could 'learn' to avoid them entirely. I mean they make Final Fantasy games that extra bit Final Fantasy. Not prepare for battle then find it like FFXII was.

Agito Sounds interesting, kinda like FF8 is the summons help growth

Hmm, pie.

Around the Network

Gushes at all the info ive always wanted to play the FF series from the start since i loved KH, THe only FF related games ive played are FFX(never finished it) FF7CC(Loved it0 and Energheiz(ugh).

I plan on playing them all 1-12 but am not trying to spend alot of money and only have a BC 60 gig Ps3 and a psp. any suggestions would be appreciated.

I seriously cannot wait for these games.

@Beja Get FFVI(Snes, PS, GBA), FFIV(Snes,PS,GBA,DS), FFIX(PS), and FFX(PS2) first. Everything else get in any order.

You MUST get IX and VIII. My favorite in the series. MILES better than VII.

No, seven is definitely the best.

That's why they're doing the Compilation of VII, versus doing it for VIII, or IX.

:P

Or because the story wasn't as full in VII. Or because of the sales of VII. Or because of the more dedicated fanbase.

:P

This, but I don't think Dmeister was talking about that.
