Forums - Sony - the tragedy of ocelot.

when ocelot met big boss, he was enthralled and taken by the charismatic leader. since then, which was roughly 40 years, he played the double-triple-quadruple agent and took on the role of the world's ultimate villain in order to free big boss from his coma prison and give freedom and liberty back to the people.

but in the end, he didn't get any kind of reward or any time to enjoy the freedom that he had worked so hard to get, and no one aside from snake knows the truth. but perhaps he did feel that freedom in his final fight with snake, which is why he died so peacefully and happily.

but despite all his efforts, he is considered the villain of the whole thing.

how tragic... and so i believe that ocelot is the biggest hero of metal gear.

Around the Network

Nope..."The Boss" is the biggest hero. She's Ocelot's mother and she sacrificed herself for her country (or some stupid politicians) and would be forever remembered as a villain!

"Dr. Tenma, according to you, lives are equal. That's why I live today. But you must have realised it by now...the only thing people are equal in is death"---Johann Liebert (MONSTER)

"WAR is a racket. It always has been.

It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives"---Maj. Gen. Smedley Butler

I agree with Pristine.

The Boss' story is much more tragic.

DOOD, u gotta edit that and add MAJOR SPOILERS for those that haven't played MGS4. Anyways, looking back at the MGS series, I don't consider Ocelot the main villain, I consider him the Puppet Master.
