Grand Theft Auto IV is going to launch on 10/30/08 in Japan for both the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3. All previous Grand Theft Autos have been exclusively to the PS2. Vice City and San Andreas have both sold over 300,000 units in Japan.

Shinobi reports (from the poor Babelfish translation) that the game is fully localized for Japanese audiences...Always a good thing.

I was expecting more news from sinobi, but alas, that was it. I don't see any Clannad first day sales info :(

i can't imagine it selling 300k, only a handful of games on ps3 have even sold that much. I think it will sell well on 360, perhaps half as much as the ps3 version.
