Forums - Gaming - Recommend me a game

So I recently re-played Severance, Blade of darkness. One of my big unknown favourites. It's publiced in 2000 by Codemasters and was a quite elaborate RPG-Hack 'n Slash. The setting was medieval and you had you're typical archetypes the Barbarian, Knight, Dwarf and Amazone. The merits of the game though where previously unseen lighting effects (real time shadows, particle effect, water-reflection etc) but the biggest fun was actually in the mutilation and gore. Like the current Conan- the barbarian MMORPG you could hack of limbs and better yet - use those limbs to bash other enemys. Chopped off limbs would leave a bloodtrailon walls, floor and cieling as did gushing wounds.

The combo system was also quite fun, consisting of button combo's but always with hilarious effect (orcs staggering on one remaining leg, losing an arm and head etc.) Finding weapon caches was always thrilling as where the secrets...

Anyway, I doubt that because of obscurity the game will not get a sequel, but I was hoping anyway know of a game kinda like this one for me to play... either on PC or Wii. And please do not recommend Ninja Gaiden or Devil may Cry.

RPG Hack'n Slash? I would recommend you Divine Divinity for PC.

It is a great game (check review: http://www.gamespot.com/pc/rpg/divinedivinity/index.html?tag=result;title;1)

And it is made by one of my friends get it =p;

Titan Quest

I think that Rune (2001) is in the same genre:
Wikipedia: "Limbs can be swung as clubs, and grotesquely enough, heads can be carried and used as weapons." That's all you like.

Both games came out the same year and I think that Severance graphics were a little better.

Edit: Severance is more 3rd person action-adventure = different from Titan Quest.

Diablo 2 or Titan quest.

 That one I already have, and the only thing it has in common is the third person perspective.
