Forums - Gaming - The Legend of Zelda and Philosophy, new book due out November

I will just wait and see what the book is about when someone buys it.

Hmm, Can't wait till somebody cracks the psychological subtext in Mario games. It will be a short book.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Lets see them explain the Zelda time line.

You're too late. Everyone knows Super Mario is communist propaganda.

Anyway, about the book: I love The Legend of Zelda and I love philosophy, so I'll buy it!

Every game has a story but only one is a legend

It's said to contain some official art too. Must own for me.

I might get it depending on the price and the length of the book.
