lol at people saying that MGS4 is a letdown, that game is incredible, but its true that if you don't like watching cut-sceens then you will be disappointed.

My biggest disapointment was Resistance FOM for me, I've read lots of reviews about it being a solid fps and I find it being just like every other average shooters out there, that game deserved a 7 at best, just my opignion.
I found brawl to be a letdown also, just didn't like the game and GTA4 is defenitly overhyped.

My favorite games for this gen:

1. Gears of War    2. MGS4    3. Killzone 2   4. Halo 3(Underated by many)      5. Mass Effect

I thought Brawl got overhyped...you see...I followed the site...so when they announced so many new charactes...I was hoping for a ton more..

apparently Sakurai decided to be stupid and make most new characters starters..and old veterans unlockables...

damnit...

another things..was the fact that there wasn't enough 3d party support for Brawl..wich was gonna be the main theme of the game...but no...I hate 3d parties...

but all in all..it's the best of the series..so I can't complain

Dragon Quest VIII. I had read everywhere that it was a masterpiece, and it turned to be one of the most boring games ever, and the worst story ever in an RPG

Biggest is GTA4 followed by AC, DMC4 then MGS4. Also SC4 is a bit of a letdown alse. Wow 4 seems to be a very unlucky number for me gameswise, I hope SF4 is good.

I think SF4 is going to meet mixed reviews.

I for one, being a hardcore SF fan, think it doesn't look all that good.

We'll miss you George.

DMC2 was pretty easy, and I hated that. You can pretty much kill all the bosses with the rocket launcher. DMC2's story was boring and uninteresting. The weapon selection was terrible. The great thing about DMC2 was the music. As for DMC4, it felt more like half a game. The same bosses, the horrible backtracking, etc. The weapon selection also wasn't very good compared to it's predecessor. Using Dante kicks ass.

Assassin's Creed, DMC2 and FF9 and 12.

Every Street Fighter after Street Fighter II.
