I might sound stupid, but what is Bots?

Oh man, REALLY hope for bots.

A year later, and Bungie is getting ready to add a crapton more content to their game, when they already shipped with a ton.

People who say that Halo/Bungie is overrated and not innovative can suck it. No one supports their games like Bungie, with the possible exception of Valve with Team Fortress and Blizzard with WoW.

It's either going to be Bots or a new halo game. Bots and a survival mode would the be the most wlecomed additions to the Halo 3 multiplayer.

I am hoping they are adding a mode like Gears 2's Horde. That could explain the NPCs they are talking about. They announced in their previous weekly update that something HUGE is coming in September. This is probably what they are referring to.

Yes!!! If they add bots, this and Gears of War 2 will ''pwn'' any other online game ever! Now, I'll be waiting for Infinity Wards to do the same. I was always mad that Bungie didn't decide to add bots in their Halo games, it disappointed me every time (because honestly, I could care less about stupid online ranks and little kids screaming all the time).

Man, bots are so much fun. I remember playing Perfect Dark on the N64 all day against bots. It was sooo fun, especially with my friends and my bro! I'm guessing other good moments are bound to happen if this is indeed true.

LOL.  Bots are cool, but they do not compare to human opponents, and yes even UT bots do not.  There are options to turn off voice chatting in games.  And online ranks are to place you in a game with people with similar skill.

 Computer controlled enemies for multiplayer matches.

Personally, I think every shooter should let you use bots. It's good to pad out teams sometimes, if you only have a few people to play with. Plus, it's good for multiplayer training. :)

Then I guess you never played Perfect Dark. Shame on you! D:
