Most game developers are rushed, and realize that the average person who buys movie based games is buying it because they loved the movie, not to play a great game.

Plus, it's set after the movie, which means it will have a new storyline and won't be dependent on the movie. And since it looks to be a Sandbox game, I am that much more sure that I will enjoy it.

Well Pandemic is developing it, so you can expect good things, seeing as they've done wonders with the Star Wars franchise in the Battlefront games.

I'm personally looking foward to a good Batman game, as I love the movies and the franchise.

Thank you! While Movie games are bad, there have tons of great ones!

For every great movie game you can name, I can name 2 bad ones.

I seem to remember the argument being "ZOMG MOVIE GAME = INSTANT FAIL!"

I didn't read that argument ever.

I never said movie game = fail.

But I will say that there are many more movie game failures than successes.  (did I spell that right?)

There are also many more game failures than successes.............so what does that prove exactly?

If this does come out (and on the wii) I will certainly look into it.........I hope it won't be long before it's confirmed (and then released).

Has Pandemic developed for the Wii before? If not, I don't think this is coming to the Wii. If yes, great... but sandbox games aren't my cup of tea.

Mercenaries 2 is coming out at the end of August, Lord of the Rings: Conquest should be coming out by the end of the year, and Saboteur will be coming out in 2009. All on the PS3 and 360 (among other platforms), but not the Wii.

Hmm...I've heard about Mercenaries 2 and I think LotR but haven't heard about Saboteur. Still...I don't see why they can't make a TDK game for the Wii/PS3/360. Not that I'd want it...but you know.

I haven't heard about the game either. I just used a quick search on Gamefaqs to wipe the floor with you .

I'd buy the game if it was a decent Sandbox title.
