Forums - Sony - Pixel Junk Eden - some thoughts on Trophies in the game

Just got this and after a spell playing I've come to the conclusion the Trophy assignment is a little... odd.  Particularly when compared to Super Stardust or Uncharted.

The main thing is that many of the bronze trophies seem to be attached to fairly tough additional elements - most the attainment of all seed pods in a level, while actually finishing levels by getting the main goal gets you nothing for a long time (until you get one from each level or all so far as I can see).

I was wondering whether others also felt what they'd picked to earn the tophies seemed a little 'off'?

I also think the game could benefit from a timed/untimed mode as it would be fun to simply have plenty of time to explore, etc. without a constant countdown going on - again what do others think?

The game is very good overall and def worth the cost IMHO but I was surprised at these two elements.

There was a thread earlier about the trophies here: http://www.vgchartz.com/forum/thread.php?id=37325&start=0

As for the timer, I completely agree. The game would be worlds better if it was separated into two modes or, preferably, if the timer was taken out altogether. There's nothing more annoying than running out of time after spending 40+ minutes trying to open all the seeds in a garden.

Ta - did a quick search but missed that somehow.
