All I know is that I've owned a PS3 since launch and have not spent a penny playing online yet so I'm happy they kept that promise so far.

i have to agree, lately the PSN is freaking awesome(and free:) ), but im pretty sure GameSpy handles sony's online, so yeah they would say that

no they don't, they just run the servers for some ps3 titles, like gta 4. they don't handle psn though.

Its easy for sony to expand their online quicker when they are playing catchup and just popying xbox live.

The article doesn't state a single feature which is better on PSN other than stating its "expanding faster".

It doesn't matter if PSN is better than Xbox Live, it doesn't have any games I want to play online anyway. :/ Well... I think my love for the Xbox360 is getting in the way.

I hate internet sites this gen. What happened to just talking about how this game is great and what you will like about it. Or this game is so fun over the internet which works great and we have no problems hooking up with our friends and no lag/disconnecting.

No we are stuck with a quarter of the review talking about the PS3 or 360 having 5 more polygons than the other or it took 10 seconds to load vs the others 7 seconds. Quite comparing and just talk about the actual game.

Sure if there is some huge flaw that makes it really hard to even enjoy. And I mean really enjoy vs just super nitpicking then point that out in a quick sentence. But seriously this is getting annoying.

Correct. Most people who claim the PSN > Xbox live don't understand (or refuse to) that PSN is playing catch up. It's taken what XBL made workable and perfected and re-using it. Just because XBL did it in 12 months from it being announced (it being any random feature), and a year later the PSN does it in say 3 months from when they announce the feature, it doesn't mean that PSN is better.

Also, I think the only really advantage PS3 has over xbox online is:

1) It's free

2) Less people have headset = Less idiots online. Or at least idiots with voices.

What about the fall update such as the netflix deal.
I think that one thing alone will be massive.
