LBP in it's current form can not be done on the PS2, it would have to be gimped in all manners just to get on the PS2, and at that stage it would just be a side scrolling/platforming game, which I guess would be still good, but what really makes LBP exciting is the user generated content as well as the sweet tool one can mess around with to make levels of any sort, as well as all the physics based things that the tools allow.

It would sell well on a 140 million PS2 user base roughly 10 times the current PS3 user base.

The PS2 would be the one responsible for KILLING the PS3 instead of the Wii or 360 if the game didn't come out on the PS3.
