I thought all version of the EA sports games on portables sucked. Is 09 supposed to be actually decent?

Actually they are okay. If you like gaming on the go. Madden NFL is the best of the best. I liked Madden NFL 07 on the PSP when I had it. I liked it when playing online at my college. It's lag free without any problems.
That's where the joy comes out of it. Single-player season mode is okay. But if you look at it from a portable perspective, this franchise made it well on the PSP.

I guess the series went down hill, because EA didn't incorporate anything knew for the portable editions. But Madden NFL 09 looks to bring it back into high score range once again.
Oh and the DS versions of Madden NFL suck. So you must be referring to that side saying portables of Madden suck, cause its true that the DS versions of Madden suck real hard...
Nah, already got the Daxter bundle. I hate sports games too. Kind of wish I would have waited for the Chains of Olympus bundle, but I fell in love with my PSP as soon as I got it, so its all good.

I got the Daxter bundle right before xmas for a road trip, worth the money, no need for a new one. If you don't have a psp yet and not interested in the GoW bundle with the Daxter bundle gone now this would be a good buy over the white Star Wars bundle I would think.
Nah, I already got the Daxter bundle a few months ago. Also, I don't like how the blue color PSP looks.
Limited edition system for a game that comes out on a yearly basis on all platforms? Really? I am amazed that there could be a market for this. Words fails me.
