Forums - Microsoft - “Culturally connected” 360 marketing will help break southern Europe, says Lewis

Eventually, but the Europeans are looking for as much tech bang for their euro in a console, imo.  360 has the games, PS3 and Wii have hardware superiority and casual experiences, respectively.

Biggest reason why Xbox 360 isn't doing well in Europe: it's perceived as a dumbed-down PC clone, which doesn't offer anywhere near what a PC has.

Biggest reason I don't take your comment seriously: it's perceived as a dumbed-down dumb ass comment. See I can make up stuff to. =) *any console can be called a dumbed down computer just a fyi*

It's the complete truth... X360 is doing awful in Europe mostly because of PC, not Sony.

“Culturally connected” 360 games will help break southern Europe, says Lewis

Fixed.

No more rugby games, produce actual football games

No more wrestling games

No more WW2 games

No more FPS at all infact - the genre has been done

No more games made in America, featuring American characters that follow American stereotypes.

Look at why Sony always does well, it's not the advertising

Suggest you remove foot from mouth before speaking. Wrestling games are hugely popular in Spain (which is southern europe).

Also, there are TWO football games and both are released for the 360 - and so far the 360 has had the better version of said franchises (FIFA and PES).

Your whole post is just a huge misunderstanding of the situation: the truth here is that Sony been doing hardware marketing specially tailored to each european country for decades.

Current-gen game collection uploaded on the profile, full of win and good games; also most of my PC games. Lucasfilm Games/LucasArts 1982-2008 (Requiescat In Pace).

PES is still associated with the brand "playstation". I never saw PES publicity that even mentioned the X360 version of the game.

GTA is also popular and associated to the "playstation" brand. I know of people who wanted to buy a PS3 because they thought GTA was a PS3 exclusive. In the TV ad they showed the playstation 3 logo at the end while in other countries they showed the Xbox 360 logo and the console's price.

Isto o que vale é que como se fala inglês, ninguém percebe um cú do que ando aqui a escrever e portanto não me podem acusar de andar a dizer asneiras. HAHA

 ==> except this time

PES Xbox360 = PES PS3

also FIFA Xbox360 = FIFA PS3

Just wait a little !                    PS3 bundle + PES 2009 = WIN !
