 Nah ... Netherlands had a B-team... People who participated in the European Championship were prohibited from the Olympics in The Netherlands and for the rest the team was made out of people aged under 23 + 3 older ones that don't even play in the normal Dutch team any longer.

Although the Americans did well, I agree! But this team was, by far, not the best The Dutch have to offer...

How can you call your own team a B-team when they are back to back under 21 champions? I could call the American team our C-team going by your logic.
I think it is the best the Dutch had to offer considering the guidelines of the Olympics contrary to you not agreeing with the guidelines.

I don't know why you would send a B-team to play in the olympics? Are your good under 21 players unpatriotic or something? I still think hes calling it the B-team because its not your Euro team. Even though its obviously your A-team that is under 23.

Because a lot of European National teams have a lot of players who play in the biggest competitions like The Netherlands.  Some Clubteams didn't allow that those players would go to Olympics;
