I think its 8/10 to me since it gets boring after a month or so, but its way better than the old ones for sure.

this is big change from 3 months ago, when it was proclaimed best game ever by people, i guess hype does cloud judgment.

How do you figure the graphics aren't notably better, did you even play the other versions of the game or GTA4.

Eh, started out liking it, but it quickly got boring. Much less to do than the other GTA games, and the missions are a lot more repetitive. Maybe an 8/10, but not a game I have any desire to own anymore.

I'm playing the game now, and I'm constantly surprised at how little there is to do. The humor in the game is great and the action looks fantastic, but the game lacks tons of little details which makes a game stand out.

Frankly, GTA IV is this year's biggest disappointment for me.

I really liked GTA IV, specially the story. In the beginning the story is well done and NIko is a very compelling character. Towards the end, it gets bad a little but "The Special Someone" mission is very good too.

Rockstar was really trying to turn GTA into a more mature, story-driven game, so they eliminated all those crazy thing you could do, but the fact is the reason it´s so popular is because there was a lot of crazy things to do.

I´d still say it´s a solid game, liked the action, didn´t like the whole dating and friends activities (though manhunt, with the police car was awesome - wish there was more).

I´d give it a 9/10

You have a working copy of the game? Lair was supposed to be a 10, too

Back on topic: Definitely enjoyed it, but definitely not a 10. Given all the bugs and outdated gameplay I'd give it about an 8.0-8.5 or so.  When it comes out on PC modders will have a field day with it, so it may get more interesting.

I wonder what GTA IV X360 DLC has to offer?

Overall GTA IV as it is a solid game, good story, ok online, significant graphical upgrade upon previous GTA games.
