Forums - Gaming - Developers Survey - 73% working on 360, 58% working on PS3, 42% on Wii

Totally agree. There own fault, wasting money and time developing games for the system that is dying faster than PS3 or Wii. Nth America probably consisted of 80% of respondent results whereas japan is another story.

Only readers of the Game Developers website and magazine. Well that would explain it since its an american publication. Wonder if it is even published in other languages or even respected in many other markets.

“When we make some new announcement and if there is no positive initial reaction from the market, I try to think of it as a good sign because that can be interpreted as people reacting to something groundbreaking. ...if the employees were always minding themselves to do whatever the market is requiring at any moment, and if they were always focusing on something we can sell right now for the short term, it would be very limiting. We are trying to think outside the box.” - Satoru Iwata - This is why corporate multinationals will never truly understand, or risk doing, what Nintendo does.

Around the Network

Sounds about right from a game dev student's perspective. MSFT is easier to dev for and the XNA community games in the Fall opens up the box 150% more.

ignore this, it's in hiding.

Nicely glossed over - "surveying almost 2,000 video game professionals from North America "

I'm just throwing this out there, I do not care what American game developers do.

and .......Overall, 70% of those replying

2000 sounds impressive but they obviously darn't say how many replies they received.
