Little early for this, eh? Maybe, maybe not. I'm excited for the game, but it has as much hype as any game ever has. All that means is theres very high potential to disappoint. I'd like to think it won't disappoint, but who really knows? The videos look like it's a blast..and creation looks fun, but the guys who create things fly through the menus..what takes them 10 minutes might take us 2 days. At first anyway.

Nope, too much hype will haunt it.

Yeah, but that hype is built around tangible, hands-on gameplay experience rather than something like graphics, which is incredibly rare.

The success of the game also depends much more on its unique concept, which shouldn't be too hard to get right, rather than delivering precisely the right tweak on the same old formula (e.g. big FPS games).
