Anyway, as I open the box, I noticed a rather large sticker saying "GARUNTEED TO WORK!"

So, I hook up my PS3 and what do you know? The AV Cable doesn't work. Luckly, I had an extra one from the PS my friend game me. So, I turned on my PS3 and got it all set up. I played some Resistance but I had to go. So, I turned it off via controller. Later on, I want to play b3yond some more, so I turn on my PS3 and it doesn't display anything. I power it off and wait a few minutes and try again. Sometimes the light will go green but display nothing. Sometimes it'll blink red. Sometimes it'll beep three times. But, it only turns on when it feels like it now. Also, the controller didn't charge at all over night.

So, yeah. Broken. Good job Gamestop. ^_^ Luckly, they said I could get a replacement at no cost to me. So, let's hope this next one works.

You should have just got a 80gb new. They are the same price with about the same features.

I want full BC.

never ever buy refurbished, if they were broken, they should stay broken because even if you fix it, it may fail again.

I dont know what this 'gamestop' is but from all the complaints it sounds like it sucks!

definitely get the MGS4 bundle,,, with the recent update the BC of 80 Gb is around 90% ,,,,the three beep means you hold the power button too long.and yes when you PS3 is off the controller will not charge (no power to USb when PS3 is off ),,,blinking red means it is turning off,,so wait.

I think MGS4 bundle is a better deal which has a full year warranty.

Why is it that second hand products seems to fetch such a high price this generation? In previous generations if something was being sold as used it would cost at least half the price as the originals, heck most games were down to under 20 bucks within a year...
