If you are trying to stay state of the art, you will have to keep upgrading all the time. I know people that spent 4K on machines and a year later are thinking about upgrading. I take the path of patiences instead.

i have 4 gigs and its more then enough for now, i say sit it out and see how games go
lol. Most games don't even use a full 2 gigs these days, unless you're running vista. In the future you'll want more, but you don't absolutely need it yet. Also, if some of you are having problems playing games with 2gb's of ram, the problem is NOT your ram - check your video card and your CPU....
