I mean MS keeps talking about digital distribution ,,,but Sony is already doing the digital distribution on titles like  warhawk,GT5:p,Soccom,siren,ratchet and clanck,....

I m just wondering why is MS just talking about it instead of shipping games on Live and DVD(like sony does with some titles)?

P.S. this is not flaim thread ,so please don't start another console war,,,I m just wondering why MS hasn't started it yet?is there a limitation or they just don't think poeple are ready yet.(inspite of saying otherwise)

Who knows? Sometimes people just talk but never deliver...

Lack of storage space on their main SKU is what is stopping them from doing that at the moment. That and the fact that one of their other SKUs does not come with an HDD right out of the box as well. Once the 60GB model comes out, I am willing to bet that they will start distributing some of their games over Live.

And by the way, they are already "distributing" other things over live. Xbox original games, Xbox Live Arcade, DLC... so on and so forth. The only thing that they AREN'T doing is offering full scale current gen games.

i think the problem comes with the HDD because many people complained if microsoft was going to unable developers to install some data on the HDD so i think the main issue with the console is the hard disck space, and dont forgget that they sell the core that it doesnt even have one, i think they will not offer full dvd sized games by digital distribution until their next system

What is the OP talking about, well thne just what are XBLA games and Xbox Originals

people are going to buy the arcade version of the 360 which is going to 200 bucks without of hardrive they are not going to have full games like PSN. Imagine they game like Siren which is 9 gigs on the PSN

Wii-Ware and XBLA is digital distribution yes, but Spartan is referring to bigger games like Warhawk, SOCOM, GT5:P, Siren etc.
